“Men can Cook” feeds full House!!
Today, March 11th, the fundraiser for the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall in Fall River, Ma., was an overwhelming success. The twenty-seven cooks put on an incredible food tasting for the packed house at the Liberal Club in Fall River.
With a variety of food items: Clam Chowder, Osso Bucco, Portuguese Steak, Smoked Jalapeno Poppers and many more dishes to savor, the attendees were more than satisfied with these incredible dishes.
When the tasting was near the end, one could finish with the several desserts that were laid out for the guests.
Along with the many raffle winners and the Chef Top awards, 100% of the monies raised will go toward the building of a permanent Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall. In total, the event raised over $7,200.00!
Thank you to Joe Marshall, Chairman of the Wall Committee and MC for the event and the many chefs, guests and especially the volunteers who worked so hard in making the event a success.
Some of the guests/Chefs were Senator Michael Rodriques, Rep. Alan Silvia, Rep. Paul Schmid, D.A. Tom Quinn, Governor’s Councilor Joe Ferreira and Fall River’s Mayor Jasiel F. Correia II.
